Australia gambling industry effectively shut down
Gambling venues across the country have been forced to close due to Coronavirus.
Australia.- The amusement industry in Australia has been shut down by the Coronavirus pandemic.
Arcades and theme parks have all been closed, as well as indoor and outdoor play centres, cinemas and other entertainment venues.
As well as that, the country’s slot machines, hotels, bars, pokies, and pubs have now been closed.
Perhaps more crucially, the country’s 14 full-scale casinos are closed for the foreseeable future, resulting in a turbulent period ahead for the country’s gambling industry.
Like much of the world, Australia was slow to react to the Coronavirus outbreak but these full-scale amusement and gambling outlet closures from Prime Minister Scott Morrison have been made in the hope that the country can recover quickly from the pandemic.
