Asian Poker Tour Manila 2025 cancelled

The organisers did not give a reason for the decision to cancel the tournament.

The Philippines.- The organisers of the Asian Poker Tour (APT) have announced the cancellation of the APT Manila 2025 tournament. The event had been scheduled to take place from May 30 to June 8 at City of Dreams Manila.

No reason for the cancellation was given. Organisers said they apologised for any inconvenience or disappointment caused to players who had planned to travel to Manila to compete.

The next scheduled stop on the APT tour will be APT Taipei 2025 from April 25 to May 4. It features a guaranteed TWD70m (US$ 2.1m) for its main event. Next up, APT Incheon 2025 runs from August 1 to August 10 at the Paradise Hotel & Resort. That features a main event with a buy-in of KRW2.5m (US$1,706) and a guarantee of KRW1.5bn (US$1m).

The tour will continue with APT Jeju 2025 from September 26 to October 5 at Jeju Shinhwa World. This will feature a main event buy-in of KRW2.6m (US$1,775) and a prize pool guarantee of KRW 2.2bn (US$1.5m). The schedule will end with the APT Championship (APTC) from November 14 to 30 at the new Red Space venue in central Taipei with a TWD165m (US$5m) prize pool guarantee, the largest in the tour’s history. Players can win a spot by entering the APT main event, high roller or super high roller at the three remaining APT tour stops. The entry fee is TWD350,000 (US$10,700).
