Michael Rumbolz cleared to take on Aristocrat non-executive director role
Rumbolz brings more than four decades of experience across the industry, spanning casino and lottery development, hotels, gaming equipment manufacturing and gaming regulation.
Australia.- Aristocrat Leisure has appointed Michael Rumbolz as a non-executive director after receiving regulatory approval for him to join the company’s board. The Australian gaming supplier said today that he will assume the role immediately and stand for election at Aristocrat’s 2027 annual general meeting.
Rumbolz brings more than four decades of experience across casino development, hotel and casino operations, lottery, slot route operations, gaming equipment manufacturing and gaming regulation. He currently serves as a director of VICI Properties and is a member of the Board of Managers of Seminole Hard Rock International. He recently completed a two-year term as chairman of the American Gaming Association.
Rumbolz served as executive chairman of Everi Holdings until July 2025, having previously held the positions of chief executive officer and president. Earlier in his career, he served as chairman of the Nevada Gaming Control Board.
When announcing the nomination in May, Aristocrat chairman Neil Chatfield described Rumbolz as a highly regarded executive in the gaming and entertainment industry, citing his operational, regulatory and governance expertise as key strengths.
