The event comes at a pivotal moment for the Finnish gaming industry. Under the country’s new Gambling Act, the online betting and casino market will open to competition, with the first licences entering into force on 1 July 2027.
With Finland moving from a monopoly model to a competitive licensing system, operators will need technology partners that can combine sportsbook performance with flexibility, localisation and a strong understanding of regulatory requirements.
