Alex Leese, Pronet Gaming’s CEO, shares the company’s strategic vision for Asia, unveiling new solutions and insights ahead of its participation in SiGMA Asia 2025.
Exclusive interview.- Alex Leese, CEO of Pronet Gaming, sat down with Focus Gaming News to discuss the company’s plans for expansion across Asia in 2025.
Speaking ahead of their participation in SiGMA Asia, Leese also outlined how Pronet Gaming is shifting away from traditional expo setups to launch a Business Lounge concept focused on meaningful engagement. He also highlighted the company’s latest technological innovations, including its turnkey platform and advanced betting exchange system, while addressing the unique challenges and opportunities within the Asian market.
How is the company preparing for SiGMA Asia?
For SiGMA Asia 2025, we’re excited to introduce a dedicated Business Lounge concept – a space designed for meaningful conversations and genuine engagement. Rather than hosting a traditional booth with demo pods, we’re creating a relaxed yet professional environment where our team can connect with industry peers, clients, and potential partners. It’s all about quality dialogue: discussing the latest developments in our sportsbook, casino, and betting exchange platforms, and sharing our vision for growth in Asia. We’ll also be running fun activities with exciting giveaways to keep things lively and engaging throughout the event.
What innovative products and solutions are you planning to showcase at the expo?
Our Business Lounge at SiGMA will serve as a hub for in-depth discussions around our most innovative solutions. Visitors can chat with our on-ground team about our multi-award-winning turnkey platform – engineered for seamless integration and user-first design – as well as BetX Pro, our advanced betting exchange system with dynamic odds and liquidity management. We’ll also talk through our extensive casino portfolio of over 20,000 titles from top-tier providers. A key strength is our team’s deep B2B and B2C experience, which equips us to better understand both operator needs and player behaviours. At SiGMA Asia, we’re ready to share that insight to support partners looking to grow in this fast-evolving region.
What does the Asian market represent to the company, particularly in 2025, a year of expansion?
Asia is a key growth frontier for Pronet Gaming in 2025 as it presents a major opportunity to solve critical operator challenges. Typically, these would include a slow time to market, limited customisation, and platforms that aren’t built for local needs, among others. We’re addressing this with fully in-house teams, tools, and strategies tailored to Asia. Our platform offers real-time insights to predict player behaviour, maximise ROI, and boost retention. What that means for operators is they get full control over risk, odds, and backend, with the flexibility to customise markets, bonuses, and UI without third-party delays.
What do you consider the main challenges in the Asian gaming market?
Navigating the diverse regulatory landscapes across Asian countries is a primary challenge. Each market has its own set of rules and cultural nuances, requiring tailored approaches. Additionally, ensuring responsible gaming practices and combating illegal operators are ongoing concerns that we address through robust compliance measures and player protection tools.

What analysis do you make about the company’s participation in SPiCE South Asia? What were the highlights of the event?
Our participation in Colombo for SPiCE South Asia earlier this year was highly productive. It provided us with valuable insights into emerging trends and regulatory developments in the region. Engaging with industry leaders and stakeholders allowed us to refine our strategies and forge meaningful connections. The event underscored the importance of adaptability and innovation in the South Asian gaming landscape.
What are the company’s plans for the next months?
In the coming months, we’ll be deepening our footprint in Asia by launching tailored solutions for key markets. The plan is to continue combining our team’s strong B2C expertise with strategic multi-channel partnerships, ranging from social media and live streaming to AI-driven tools and Telegram ads. Through these efforts, we aim to deliver immediate impact and lasting results for operators in the region.
