Australian regulator blocks five more gambling sites
The latest action takes the number of blocked gambling and affiliate websites to 1,822.
Australia.- The Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA) has requested that online service providers (ISPs) block five more unlicensed online gambling sites. It says its investigations found the sites to be operating in breach of the Interactive Gambling Act 2001. The sites are Bet Ninja, Riobet188, ThePokies33, Spade69 and WinShark.
ACMA says that since it made its first blocking request in November 2019, 1,822 illegal gambling and affiliate websites have been blocked.
