ASF unveils new casino details
The construction of the proposed integrated resort could begin after the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games on April.
Australia.- ASF Consortium announced that the Gold Coast project will feature five towers and a marine parking for jet ski. The US$3 billion resort needs the approval from the Queensland government to start the construction process.
The consortium would need to overcome a hurdle before it can finish the details on the proposed casino, as the Australian regulation establishes that buildings in the area can’t be higher than three floors. Despite that, the company remains hopeful that the government will allow the casino resort to be built. The towers are set to feature 40 to 45 stories with a hotel included, one specifically fora five star hotel tower, and other two with 20 to 27 stories for residential purposes.
A property market researcher established that the proposed casino could generate approximately US$545 million annually once fully operational. Furthermore, the Gold Coast casino could attract an extra 2.1 million visitors every night, The project is set to offer more than 10.000 employment positions. The Southport Split integrated resort will be constructed on a 5 hectare waterfront that is located near the Gold Coast Fisherman’s Co-operative, and is expected that it will boost the economy when all the facilities are open to the public.
