NFL’s Arizona Cardinals name official casino partner

The Arizona Cardinals have named Gila River Hotels and Casinos as the team’s official hotel and casino partner.

US.- The Arizona Cardinals and Gila River Hotels and Casinos continue to expand their relationship, this time by naming the casino company the official hotel and casino partner of the National Football League (NFL) team.

The partnership goes back to the last decade, as the Cardinals and Gila River have worked together for more than 15 years. Gila River said that in order to celebrate the announcement, it is offering more than US$250k in prizes.

“The Arizona Cardinals are proud to be a teammate of Gila River Hotels & Casinos. Together, we are a team that shares a common goal: to truly make a difference in our communities, particularly with youth-focused initiatives,” said Arizona Cardinals President Michael Bidwill.

Kenneth Manuel, CEO of Gila River Hotels and Casinos, added: “Gila River Hotels and Casinos support its home team annually at their presenting partnership game with more than 300 Gila River Indian Community member fans in attendance, and it has been an honour to present our Nation’s Colours before each of those games.

“We’re thrilled that our long-standing partnership is official in the eyes of the NFL,” explained the CEO. Moreover, Manuel said that they are not only merging two synergistic brands, but they’re also creating more opportunities to give back to the local community in Arizona.

Manuel added that the Arizona Cardinals will be donating US$5k to the Gila River Fire Department apprentice program. He explained that they also host four youth football clinics each year for children in the community.

“There are player appearances, cheerleader and mascot appearances, and many other activities that we collaborate on. Our long-standing partnership is proof that, with a shared vision and mutual respect, anything is possible,” added the CEO.
