Aprirose wants to sell Grosvenor Victoria casino

The owner of the British casino is looking for £70 million.

UK.- Aprirose Investors appointed Knight Frank and Savills to manage the selling of the Grosvenor Victoria Casino. The London facility worth £70 million welcomes approximately 1200 players every day.

This is certainly not the first time that the company tries to sell the gambling facility, since they also tried to do it in 2014 when they asked for £55.5 million. Manish Gudka, Chief Executive at Aprirose, said: “The Grosvenor Victoria Casino is a London West End institution that makes an attractive investment for potential buyers. We have appointed our advisers to dispose of the asset as we look to exit in line with our investment strategy at the time of purchase.”

Director of central London investment at Savills, Jonathan O’Regan, said that the marketing of this asset presents an outstanding opportunity as London casinos are not usually offered to the open market. “The casino sector is performing well in London and Grosvenor Casinos, the UK’s biggest brand, is an excellent covenant for this asset,” he added. Rank Group, the operator of the casino brand, would still hold its position after a new owner until 2026.
