Andrii Savyntsev, Product Owner Team Lead at ICONIC21, discusses Gravity Wheel, explaining how the new game show anchors the Gravity Series by combining high multipliers with immersive, universe-themed studio design.

Exclusive interview.- As competition intensifies across the live casino and game show vertical, differentiation is increasingly defined by how well mechanics, production and player experience are integrated into a single, coherent product. In this exclusive interview with Focus Gaming News, Andrii Savyntsev, product owner team lead at ICONIC21, discusses the strategic thinking behind the launch of Gravity Wheel and how it elevates the broader Gravity Series.

Gravity Wheel is positioned as the headline release of the Gravity Series. From a product perspective, why now?

Gravity Wheel came at the right moment in the evolution of the series. We had already proven that the Gravity mechanic works across tables, automated games, and casual formats. The next logical step was a game show where the multiplier concept could become the main character. Gravity Wheel allows us to bring pace, spectacle, and clarity together in a single format, without compromising control or transparency.

The Gravity Series is known for its use of multipliers. Why are they so central to engagement?

Multipliers add anticipation without changing the core logic of a game. Players already understand roulette or blackjack. When you introduce multipliers in a clean way, you create a second engagement layer. The bet stays simple, but the outcome feels richer. That is why Gravity Blackjack and Gravity Roulette became some of our most requested titles. Gravity Wheel takes that same principle and pushes it to the front.

Let’s talk mechanics. What defines Gravity Wheel at the gameplay level?

The wheel delivers eight outcomes. Four are static results, four are bonus outcomes. When betting time ends, the multiplier is generated while the wheel is spinning. There is no second phase and no delay. Players see the result immediately. Multipliers can go up to one thousand times, which creates very strong moments without slowing the game. The round structure stays tight and readable from the first spin.

The studio setup is a big part of the experience. What went into its design?

Gravity Wheel was designed as a show from day one. The studio uses interactive LED screens, advanced lighting, and real-time visual effects that react to the game flow. We use four broadcast-grade cameras to give full coverage and smooth transitions, so the viewer always understands where to look. The wheel itself has fifty-four segments and an integrated digital display, so animations and multipliers appear directly on the surface. Nothing feels external or layered on top.

Visually, the game moves through several stages. What is the idea behind that?

We wanted the session to feel like a journey. Gravity Wheel moves through four visual stages: Comet, Moon, Saturn, and Sun. Each stage has its own lighting mood and LED environment behind the wheel. The change is subtle but noticeable. It keeps the experience fresh and reinforces the Gravity story without asking players to learn anything new.

The Gravity theme feels very consistent, down to small details. How intentional was that?

Very intentional. The Gravity Series is a full-blown world. Every detail matters. The wheel print, the LED content, the lighting cues, and even the presenter’s uniform are designed around the idea of the universe and gravitational pull. When everything speaks the same visual language, players feel it, even if they cannot explain it.

From a production point of view, what was the biggest challenge?

Precision. A fast-paced game show leaves no room for uncertainty. The studio technology, camera timing, lighting changes, and multiplier logic all have to work in sync. The goal was to make something that feels dynamic but never chaotic. That takes a lot of testing and iteration behind the scenes.

How do you see Gravity Wheel fitting into the wider portfolio?

Gravity Wheel anchors the series. Operators already know what a Gravity title represents. This game strengthens that recognition and gives partners a strong hero product they can build campaigns around. It also proves that the Gravity mechanic can scale into bigger formats while staying true to its core.

Final thought. What should operators understand about Gravity Wheel at first glance?

That it is not a one-off idea. It is the result of a series built with intention. Gravity Wheel shows what happens when mechanics, studio design, and theme are developed as one. That is where long-term performance comes from.
