Altenar has received approval from the Alberta Gaming, Liquor and Cannabis Commission to provide its sportsbook solutions ahead of the province’s regulated igaming market launch on June 15.

The approval positions Altenar to support licensed operators and the launch of Alberta’s regulated online gaming market, expected on July 13, 2026. The province is set to become Canada’s second regulated igaming jurisdiction after Ontario, creating significant opportunities for operators, suppliers and players alike.
