Allwyn UK appoints Bridget Lea as managing director of retail
The operator of the National Lottery has announced a restructuring of its retail operations with the creation of a new leadership team.
UK.- Allwyn UK has announced Bridget Lea has been appointed as managing director of retail, effective January 19. Lea will lead a newly created team tasked with accelerating performance in the retail channel and overseeing the operator’s systems.
According to the company, the appointment is part of a wider restructuring of its retail operations. Lea’s team will include Alison Acquaye-Acford as retail revenue and customer director, James Dunbar as retail strategy and operations director, and Emma Hubbard as head of retail delivery.
Lea previously held executive roles at Marks & Spencer, Sainsbury’s, O2, BT Group and Snap. She said: “I’m excited to join Allwyn at such a pivotal time for the National Lottery. Retailers play a vital role in communities nationwide, and I look forward to working with our partners to create modern, engaging experiences that delight players and support the ongoing transformation of The National Lottery.”
