AgeChecked and Rdentify join forces

The two providers will combine capacities to better identify vulnerable players for igaming operators.

UK.- The online ID verification specialist AgeChecked has teamed up with the igaming risk assessment software provider Rdentify to develop new tools to monitor igaming customer engagements.

The two companies will combine their tech and engineering resources and experience in verification and risk assessment to allow igaming operators to identify vulnerable customers more efficiently, they said.

They will develop machine-learning algorithms to allow customer service teams to make earlier interventions. They will also aim to respond to the nuances in identifying at-risk customers in different markets.

Rdentify CEO Daniel Brookes noted that the partnership came at a critical time for the UK’s igaming market as the government looks to review gambling legislation.

He said: “Since 2017 in the UK, remote operators have been fined more than £63.5m by the UK Gambling Commission for social responsibility failings.

“Operators rely solely on customer support agents to recognise the signs of problem gambling during their live chat interactions. Globally, the igaming industry is highly regulated and fast-growing, with a strong focus on player protection.

“Rdentify provides a scalable natural language processing (NLP) and machine learning-based engine which flags end-user vulnerability risk during live chat interactions.”
