Betting giant backs Kebinatshipi and Botswana athletics team after historic Tokyo World Championships Triumph. <\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Botswana.- Betway<\/strong> has pledged P1.32m (\u20ac80,500)<\/strong> to Busang Collen Kebinatshipi<\/strong> and the Botswana<\/strong> national team following their historic performance at the World Athletics Championships 2025<\/strong> in Tokyo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The 21-year-old Kebinatshipi stormed to gold<\/strong> in the 400m with a world-leading 43.51-second run, then powered Botswana to a historic 4x400m relay gold, a first ever for the African continent. The country finished the championships with two golds and a bronze<\/strong>, cementing its status as a dominant force in the 400m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The prize money<\/strong> distribution highlights the leading sports betting brand\u2019s commitment to celebrating every member of the team. Gold medallists<\/strong> each received P100,000 (\u20ac6,100), while the bronze medallist<\/strong> was awarded P70,000 (\u20ac4,270). Finalists<\/strong> received P50,000 (\u20ac3,050) each, semi-finalists P45,000 (\u20ac2,750) each and reserves P40,000 (\u20ac2,440) each. The head coach<\/strong> received P35,000 (\u20ac2,140), assistant coaches and technical staff P25,000 (\u20ac1,525) each and medical and administrative staff P20,000 (\u20ac1,220) each.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
