Swanson will be preparing and entering horses in the races, influencing bettors\u2019 decisions with the performance of her horses. Daniels will be riding in the races, and his skills and track record provide valuable insight into likely outcomes, helping guide <strong>wagering choices<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"259\" height=\"194\" src=\"https:\/\/focusgn.com\/africa\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/7\/2025\/09\/JOCKEY-2.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-8890\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Jockey Deryl Daniels will take to the track, guiding top contenders toward victory in the upcoming season.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Bigger stakes, bigger betting<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Adding to the excitement, Zimbabwean owners are negotiating the <strong>inclusion of South African horses<\/strong> in the Race Coast <strong>$5,770<\/strong> incentive plan, which provides bonuses to owners, trainers and vendors of qualifying horses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A ZimRacing report states: \u201cGood news for Zimbabwe in the future, and maybe South African owners will send a few horses up to Zim to access this fund.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The <strong>Mashonaland Turf Club (MTC)<\/strong>, which operates and regulates racing at Borrowdale Park, is expected to benefit directly from increased wagering activity. This additional revenue will help sustain higher stakes and improve facilities for owners, trainers and punters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The potential <strong>for betting growth<\/strong> is also highlighted in the report, which states: \u201cIf we continue on our current path and include the revenue that will go to the MTC once we unlock the betting opportunities from bigger fields, we believe our <strong>revenue target<\/strong> is attainable.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Racing events will generally take place every three weeks on Fridays, with up to seven or eight races per meeting and a total of 16 to 17 race days planned for the season.
