Botswana.- Betway Botswana<\/strong> has launched its Betway Rewards<\/strong> loyalty program, allowing players to earn points on sports and casino bets, then convert them to cash instantly, with no delays or restrictions. The initiative, unveiled on September 19, 2025<\/strong>, extends Betway’s efforts in Southern Africa<\/strong>, following similar programs in Zambia<\/strong> and Ghana<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To commemorate the launch, Betway hosted a party in Gaborone<\/strong> for influencers, creators and journalists. Attendees wore Betway jerseys and participated in a 30-second trivia game<\/strong> on Botswana history and local artists. Winning teams received P250<\/strong> (\u20ac15.98) credited to their accounts immediately.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event included representatives from the Botswana Gambling Authority, including CEO Emolemo Peter Kesitilwe<\/strong>, who said during an interview: “We’re here to celebrate what makes Botswana special, from our stories to our sounds, while giving back in ways that feel immediate and fair.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With the initiative, Betway aims to increase its user engagement and loyalty in Botswana\u2019s competitive betting market, home to a number of operators, including Sunbet<\/strong>, Pstbet<\/strong>, 22Bet<\/strong>, PariPesa<\/strong> and MelBet<\/strong>.
This development comes days after Betway Africa unveiled SkyControl<\/a>, the world\u2019s first player-versus-player (PvP) crash game with multiplayer features, in Tanzania, Ghana, Nigeria, Malawi, Zambia and Botswana.<\/p>\n\n\n
