These industry-specific taxes are designed to create a\u00a0<strong>steady funding<\/strong>\u00a0stream from\u00a0<strong>regulated gambling<\/strong>, supporting kickball clubs, youth engagement and women\u2019s participation in the sport across Liberia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>NLA Deputy Director General\u00a0<strong>Ennish Fahnbulleh<\/strong>\u00a0unveiled the initiative at NLA headquarters in Monrovia, under the theme \u201cLet the Game Grow\u201d, highlighting its dual purpose of easing financial pressure on club presidents and keeping the sport accessible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Fahnbulleh said: \u201cThis initiative is designed to provide steady financial support for clubs and create a stronger, more&nbsp;<strong>competitive league<\/strong>. The plan reflects NLA\u2019s commitment to youth engagement, community development and accessible sports opportunities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Cross-border kickball boosts regional ties<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Liberia\u2019s kickball initiatives are strengthening&nbsp;<strong>regional sports ties<\/strong>. Neighbouring country Sierra Leone\u2019s Director of Participation and Sustainable Sports, Steven Korfala, praised Liberia\u2019s efforts to promote kickball during a recent visit to NLA headquarters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He said that the Government of Sierra Leone and its Sports Authority are ready to work closely with Liberia, and \u201cencouraged federations from both nations to support the sport and explore\u00a0<strong>gaming-sector collaboration<\/strong>\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Already planned for October 13, a 220-strong Liberian delegation, including six&nbsp;<strong>kickball club teams<\/strong>, officials and support staff, will head to Sierra Leone for a week of&nbsp;<strong>exhibition matches<\/strong>, training and partnership meetings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Under the \u201cLet the Game Grow\u201d initiative, the program will boost collaboration between countries, help grow kickball across\u00a0<strong>West Africa<\/strong> and create new opportunities for young people and women.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Liberia Kickball Federation (LKF) President,\u00a0<strong>Emmanuel Whea<\/strong>, hailed the tax plan and upcoming delegation as pivotal for sustainable funding and deeper regional integration.
