The summit will bring together global and regional leaders to explore how fintech, AI, mobile money and digital policy are driving technological growth, trends that are rapidly reshaping Africa\u2019s <strong>online gambling, gaming and igaming sectors<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Scheduled for October 21 to 23 at the Kigali Convention Centre, this <strong>premier connectivity summit<\/strong> is organised by the GSMA, the global mobile industry association, in partnership with Rwanda&#8217;s Ministry of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) and Innovation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The event will bring together global and regional leaders to explore how <strong>fintech, AI, mobile money<\/strong> and digital policy are driving technological growth, developments that are rapidly transforming Africa\u2019s digital landscape and creating <strong>innovative opportunities<\/strong> for growth in online gambling and igaming sectors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A Fintechnews Africa report stated: \u201cThe programme will convene policymakers, industry leaders and innovators to engage in dialogue on key policy and regulatory issues that will shape <strong>Africa\u2019s digital future<\/strong>.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The report added that the dedicated Mobile for Development (M4D) Theatre will serve as a platform for <strong>panels and discussions<\/strong> on topics such as AI, mobile money and digital inclusion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Shaping Africa\u2019s digital and gaming future<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>According to Innovators Magazine, MWC Kigali 2025 is set to \u201cshape Africa\u2019s <strong>digital future<\/strong> through themes such as mobile money, AI and digital policy\u201d. Industry analysts say these developments could positively impact online gaming and igaming services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>All the <strong>business leaders<\/strong> speaking at the event are CEOs: Sunil Taldar of Airtel Africa, Hassan Jaber of AXIAN Telecom, Frehiwot Tamiru of Ethiotel, Ralph Mupita of MTN Group and Yasser Shaker of Orange Middle East and Africa, along with Rwanda\u2019s Minister of ICT and Innovation, Hon.
