Namibia.- Namibia\u2019s Windhoek Country Club Resort and Casino<\/strong> has soared with N$205.6m (\u20ac10.7m) in revenue for the 2023\/24 financial year. With revenue forecast to climb to N$218m (\u20ac11.3m) in 2025 and reach N$231m (\u20ac12.0m) in 2026<\/strong>, the casino is solidifying its position as a powerhouse in the nation\u2019s gaming and hospitality sector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Windhoek Country Club Resort and Casino is state-owned and operated by Legacy Hotels and Resorts<\/strong>. This collaboration ensures the resort maintains its status as a premier destination<\/strong> for both locals and international visitors<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The resort ended April 2025 with cash reserves of N$132m (\u20ac6.9m), while the government received a dividend payout of N$25m (\u20ac1.3m) – an increase of N$5m (\u20ac270,000)<\/strong> compared to the previous year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Board Chairperson Evans Simataa<\/strong> said: \u201cLooking ahead, we anticipate continued positive momentum, with revenue growth from operations projected to increase by 6 per cent<\/strong> in 2025, and maintaining a steady growth rate of 5 per cent thereafter. Our ability to not only recover but to flourish in this post-pandemic era is a powerful testament to our robustness.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Strong finances and social impact<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Expenses <\/strong>have been kept in check, stabilising at 7 per cent and projected to ease to 5 per cent<\/strong> in the coming years. Operating expenses are expected to stand at 79 per cent of revenue in 2025, with a medium-term target of 74 per cent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Simataa said that the resort\u2019s financial position remains solid<\/strong>. \u201cWe are confident that Windhoek Country Club Resort is unlikely to require shareholder funding in the short term, a testament to the maturity and sound management of our business.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Alongside its financial achievements, the casino also contributed N$1.3m (\u20ac68,000) to charities<\/strong>, reflecting its social responsibility commitments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With revenues rising in 2025, government dividends increasing, and steady growth projections ahead for 2026, the Windhoek Country Club Resort and Casino in Namibia has positioned itself as a cornerstone of the nation\u2019s gaming industry<\/strong> and a model of sustainable performance.<\/p>\n\n\n
