Held from <strong>August 25 to 29, 2025<\/strong>, the company-wide awareness programme on responsible gaming involved all agencies under the state lottery operator.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The initiative was launched by the general management under the leadership of Director-General <strong>Dramane Coulibaly<\/strong> and coordinated by the <strong>Autonomous Service for Quality and Responsible Gaming (SAQJR)<\/strong> with the support of the Human Resources and Employee Experience Department.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Specialists from the Bogson Group consultancy, along with experts in psychology and addiction treatment \u2014 <strong>Professor N\u2019Dri Yao Eug\u00e8ne<\/strong>, <strong>Dr Kanga Adouakoua Brice<\/strong>, <strong>Dr Kouakou Ahou Albertine<\/strong> and <strong>Dr Djako Logon Albert Thierry<\/strong> \u2014 led the sessions. They trained managers and operators to spot risky player behaviour, understand the psychology of gambling and use preventive measures to avoid addiction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>LONACI says the campaign reflects its corporate vision to balance entertainment with social responsibility. <strong>Ninnin Fofana<\/strong>, one of the company\u2019s Product Managers, said: \u201cThe mental health of our players is a priority for us. Gambling must remain a leisure activity. The aim of LONACI is not to impoverish the population.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The initiative builds on other public efforts this year, including panel discussions on <strong>\u201cResponsible Gaming in the Digital Age\u201d<\/strong> and educational talks on \u201cThe Psychology of the Bettor\u201d. These events have highlighted the importance of detecting early warning signs, such as excessive play frequency or high spending, and offering players support before gambling becomes harmful.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>LONACI, a member of the World Lottery Association, has been implementing responsible gaming measures for several years, including self-exclusion tools, behavioural monitoring and public education.
