Originally set for July 26, the 2025 season was delayed for regulatory approvals and officially kicked off on August 2. South African fans are buzzing as the racing, a long time Saturday morning favourite, returns to their screens following the Turf Club\u2019s first meeting<\/strong> of the term.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In a sports report on August 20, the SA Sporting Post stated: \u201cThe English commentaries<\/strong> from Mauritius will be done by former Cape Town jockey Mark Neisius, who has been resident on the island for some years\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One notable example is Plattner Racing\u2019s Selukwe, who finished third in the Hollywoodbets Durban July<\/strong> and was sold for R950,000 (\u20ac45,600) to the well-known Paul Foo-Kune stable in Mauritius.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
