The strategy is already paying off, with international arrivals <strong>surging 19 per cent<\/strong> in the first half of 2025. Tourism revenues also hit an impressive <strong>DH54bn ($5.6bn)<\/strong>, marking a nearly 10 per cent increase compared to last year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Behind the surge is the 2025 tourism strategy, which blends Morocco\u2019s rich heritage with the fast-evolving world of <strong>digital entertainment<\/strong>. At the heart of this transformation are <strong>thematic incubators<\/strong>, which are innovation hubs focused on supporting start-ups in various sectors including digital services and notably leisure gaming.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>These incubators provide focused support and mentorship to entrepreneurs developing <strong>immersive gaming experiences<\/strong> rooted in Morocco\u2019s rich cultural heritage. These innovative projects include virtual journeys through historic towns and augmented reality games inspired by local legends.
