The machines, which were being operated without licences, were found in various shops, bars and other locations that were not compliant with gaming regulations. Now, they will be destroyed after the NLGRB secures court orders granting the request.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In its release after the seizures, the NLGRB reiterated its commitment to ensuring the integrity and fairness of the gaming industry in Uganda. It further urges members of the public to keep reporting any unauthorised gaming operations to maintain a fair and safe gaming environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The regulator continued: \u201cYou are encouraged to report such activities or lodge formal complaints through our Toll-free line 0800285800 or via email at info@nlgrb.go.ug. Your vigilance is critical in supporting our efforts to regulate the industry and protect the public from illegal gaming operations countrywide.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In recent months, the NLGRB has confiscated and destroyed thousands of illegal gaming machines, with <a href=\"https:\/\/focusgn.com\/africa\/uganda-intensifies-efforts-to-take-down-illegal-gambling-empire\">over 5,000 reportedly seized<\/a> so far.
