The state-of-the-art ambulances were provided to rural and underserved health facilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The handover ceremony was held at the Foundation\u2019s Cocody headquarters and chaired by LONACI\u2019s board chairman and director general, <strong>Dramane Coulibaly<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The event attracted an impressive lineup of dignitaries from political and military officials to health professionals and community leaders, all gathered to witness a powerful gesture of solidarity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">These ambulances are more than just vehicles, they are mobile lifelines, fully equipped to handle <strong>medical emergencies<\/strong> in some of the country\u2019s most remote communities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Coulibaly described the initiative as an embodiment of LONACI\u2019s mission to uplift the collective well-being of Ivorians.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cThe Lonaci Foundation is today a champion of national solidarity,\u201d he said, spotlighting the budget increase to 6.75 billion CFA francs ($11.15m) as evidence of their expanded commitment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Value of donated ambulances<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The donation, valued at 232.5 million FCFA ($384,000), saw the following <strong>rural health centres<\/strong> receiving the life-saving vehicles:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Kalamon (Bounkani region, Doropo)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Mahandiani-Sokourani (Folon region, Kaniasso)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Bandakanigni-Sokoura (Gontougo region, Sandegu\u00e9)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Guezo (Gu\u00e9mon region, Facobly)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Bassawa (Hambol region, Dabakala)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On behalf of the benficiaries, <strong>Kaniasso Prefect Akpa Aim\u00e9 Roland<\/strong> lauded the Foundation\u2019s generosity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cThanks to this initiative, you are supporting life and protecting human dignity,\u201d he said, according to a press statement.
