Namibia.- The One Economy Foundation is conducting its One Impact Raffle under a Benevolent Society permit issued by Namibia\u2019s Lotteries Board<\/strong>, with the draw scheduled for October 1 and net proceeds earmarked for the organisation\u2019s charitable and public-benefit objectives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to the Foundation\u2019s official raffle term<\/strong>s, the permit was issued under Namibia\u2019s Lotteries Act, 2017, and is identified as BSC001\/06\/2026. Tickets cost N$300 (US$16.3), with up to 1,000 tickets available. Sales close on October 1 or when all tickets have been sold, whichever comes first.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Namibia\u2019s Lotteries Board regulates public, private, benevolent and promotional lotteries under the Lotteries Act, 2017. The One Impact Raffle is a benevolent lottery<\/strong> operating under this framework and is separate from the country\u2019s planned State Lottery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The raffle draw will take place at the Mercure Hotel in Windhoek, with winners selected at random<\/strong> in the presence of an independent witness or audience member. Results will be announced at the Foundation\u2019s gala dinner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The One Impact Raffle forms part of the Foundation\u2019s 11th Annual Fundraising Soir\u00e9e, held under the theme \u201cRooted in Purpose\u201d and will take place in Windhoek. Funds raised during the soir\u00e9e will go towards maintaining and expanding the Foundation\u2019s operations in health service delivery, education and economic skills<\/strong> building across Namibia, according to the Namibian.<\/p>\n\n\n
