Ten bettors correctly selected the Quint\u00e9 order, with winning tickets recorded in Burkina Faso, C\u00f4te d\u2019Ivoire and Mali.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
C\u00f4te d\u2019Ivoire.- A major cross-border horse-racing betting pool <\/strong>spanning six West African countries has produced 10 Quint\u00e9 winners, with each collecting CFA21.2935m (US$37,700) after correctly picking the race order.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The winners emerged from the September 3 Quint\u00e9 held under the Masse Commune of the West African Economic and Monetary Union<\/strong> (UEMOA), with the official PMU result recording 10 winning tickets. Quint\u00e9 is a horse-racing bet in which players select the first five horses to finish, with a higher payout available when the five are selected in the correct order.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The Masse Commune brings together lottery and Pari Mutuel Urbain operators from Benin, Burkina Faso, C\u00f4te d\u2019Ivoire, Mali, Niger and Senegal, allowing bets to be pooled across the participating markets<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The September 3 race featured a special CFA100m (US$177,200) jackpot on the Quint\u00e9 order, with a CFA300 (US$0.53) base stake.<\/p>\n\n\n The 10 winners comprised six at the Burkina Faso National Lottery (LONAB), two at the National Lottery of C\u00f4te d\u2019Ivoire (LONACI) and two at PMU Mali. The two LONACI bettors each received CFA21.2935m, bringing their combined winnings to CFA42.587m (US$75,500).<\/p>\n\n\n\n LONACI said: “One winner, identified as Y.A., staked CFA36,000 (US$64) and won CFA21.2935m, while Z.A. won the same amount with the CFA300 base stake. Both correctly selected the Quint\u00e9 order.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n The next Masse Commune<\/strong> UEMOA event is scheduled for December 3 2026, with another CFA100m special jackpot on the Quint\u00e9 order.<\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n
