Guinea.- Guinea\u2019s National Lottery (LONAGUI) has linked its backing of the third edition of the LONAGUI League Cup<\/strong> to a corporate social responsibility strategy focused on youth development and support for football in the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The competition brought together 28 football clubs<\/strong> from Guinea\u2019s Ligue 1 and Ligue 2, with teams from the country\u2019s top two divisions competing for the LONAGUI League Cup, according to Guin\u00e9enews.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

LONAGUI provided financial support for the organisation of the competition. The lottery said its contribution covered logistical aspects as well as promotion and media coverage, describing the backing as part of its broader support for football in Guinea.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

LONAGUI said in a statement: \u201cAt LONAGUI, our mission goes beyond the sole framework of our gaming products<\/strong>: it is part of a strong social responsibility, focused on the development of Guinean youth and the support of the national sports fabric.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The tournament<\/strong> ended with FC S\u00e9quence de Dixinn, a second-division club, beating top-flight side RCC Kamsar 4-2 at the Stade de l\u2019Amiti\u00e9 in Kamsar to win its first League Cup title. FC S\u00e9quence came from 2-0 down to complete the comeback, while the final was also the first in the competition\u2019s history to be staged outside Guinea\u2019s capital, Conakry, according to Guin\u00e9enews.<\/p>\n\n\n
