The agreement will see Kenya’s national esports team carry the Magical Kenya logo on international duty.

Kenya.- The Esports Kenya Federation (ESKF), Kenya Tourism Board (KTB) and Global Esports Federation (GEF) have entered into a strategic partnership to use esports and video gaming to promote Kenya as a tourism destination to a global gaming audience.

Under the agreement, the three organisations will collaborate to integrate the Magical Kenya brand into international esports competitions, digital broadcasts and competitive gaming circuits. Kenya’s national esports team will also wear jerseys featuring the Magical Kenya logo when representing the country at international events.

The deal provides a platform for Kenya to incorporate its tourism identity into high-profile esports events and broadcasts, potentially exposing Kenyan destinations to audiences beyond conventional tourism campaigns.

The agreement also gives esports greater recognition and institutional backing within Kenya’s wider sports and tourism sectors, creating more opportunities for investment in infrastructure, events and talent development.

The partnership was announced during GEF president and CEO Sir Paul J. Foster’s three-day visit to Kenya. Foster’s visit has included meetings with Kenya’s government and esports stakeholders to discuss infrastructure, international competitions and the development of the country’s gaming sector.
