Benin.- Benin\u2019s Casino Partouche Cotonou<\/strong> tripled its gross gaming revenue (GGR) to \u20ac0.9m in Q3 2026, with Groupe Partouche confirming positive momentum at the casino despite a decline in its wider international GGR.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The casino opened on January 28, 2025. In a September 8 2026 financial update, Groupe Partouche said Cotonou\u2019s GGR reached \u20ac0.9m between May and July, up from \u20ac0.3m<\/strong> in Q3 2025. Partouche said the \u20ac0.3m recorded in the comparable period represented the casino\u2019s second quarter of operation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Partouche president Fabrice Paire <\/strong>said Cotonou had \u201cfound its cruising speed\u201d and that the group had received several approaches to open other establishments on the continent, according to AFP.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Internationally, Partouche\u2019s GGR fell 5.1 per cent to \u20ac18.9m in Q3, compared with \u20ac19.9m a year earlier. The company said the result was weighed down by major renovation work<\/strong> at its Meyrin casino in Switzerland, where slot-machine GGR fell 25.4 per cent to \u20ac6.5m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Swiss online gaming moved in the opposite direction, with revenue rising<\/strong> 11 per cent to \u20ac7.3m from \u20ac6.6m a year earlier. Group GGR rose 5.8 per cent in Q3 to \u20ac200m, while turnover increased 5.1 per cent to \u20ac120.3m from \u20ac114.5m a year earlier.<\/p>\n\n\n\n In the first nine months of its financial year, Partouche recorded \u20ac571.1m in group GGR, 3.7 per cent higher than a year earlier.
