South Africa.- The Limpopo Gambling Board (LGB<\/strong>) has provided toys and educational materials to two Early Childhood Development (ECD)<\/strong> centres in Mopani District as part of its Corporate Social Investment (CSI) programme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to the regulator, the donation is aimed at helping the beneficiaries, Angel Feet Care Centre<\/strong> and Hluvukani Cr\u00e8che<\/strong>, create environments where children can develop essential skills through structured learning and play.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The materials are expected to support the development of cognitive, language, motor, social and problem-solving skills during the early stages of children\u2019s education.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The LGB said the initiative is particularly relevant to ECD centres serving disadvantaged communities, where access to suitable educational resources can be limited. Learning materials and play-based resources can help ECD practitioners provide children with more stimulating activities while preparing them for the transition into formal schooling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The handover forms part of the board\u2019s wider CSI efforts in Limpopo. Through the programme, the LGB channels part of the revenue generated from the regulated gambling sector towards social development projects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The LGB said it remains committed to initiatives that empower communities and strengthen the foundations for children\u2019s educational success.<\/p>\n\r\n\t\t
