NLA staff across various departments are taking part in online responsible gaming and CSR training, with the programme linked to WLA Level 2 certification.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Ghana.- Ghana\u2019s National Lottery Authority<\/strong> (NLA) is using the World Lottery Association\u2019s (WLA) online learning platform to train staff in responsible gaming and corporate social responsibility (CSR).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The programme is being coordinated by the NLA\u2019s Corporate Affairs Department following a directive from its Human Resource Department to equip staff across various departments with knowledge of responsible gaming<\/strong> and CSR.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The training features interactive video modules and reading materials designed to enhance participants\u2019 understanding of responsible gaming practices and CSR. Participants who successfully complete the course are awarded certificates<\/strong> of completion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The training is linked to the Authority\u2019s Level 2 Certification from the WLA. The NLA said: \u201cThe successful completion of this training is a key requirement in securing the Authority’s Level 2 Certification <\/strong>from the World Lottery Association.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The NLA said the training underscores the importance of promoting international best practices and responsible operations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The initiative comes as the NLA pursues wider measures to strengthen Ghana\u2019s lottery sector. The Authority has proposed a performance-linked support and reward scheme for Lotto Marketing Companies<\/a> (LMCs), with the firms to be categorised according to sales performance.<\/p>\n\n\n
