Kenya.- Online gaming developer Spribe<\/strong> has obtained trademark protection in Kenya for the logo of its Aviator crash game, adding to the intellectual property rights surrounding the brand in the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The registration was completed through the World Intellectual Property Organization\u2019s (WIPO) Madrid System<\/strong> and covers classes 9, 28, 41 and 42<\/strong>. According to Spribe, the protection in Kenya is effective retroactively from October 11, 2024<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The registration gives Spribe formal trademark protection for the Aviator logo in Kenya and strengthens the company\u2019s legal position over the use of the brand in the market.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The four classes included in the registration span different areas relevant to Aviator\u2019s branding and commercial use, including software and technology, gaming-related goods and services, entertainment activities, and technology services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The use of the Madrid System also allows trademark owners to seek protection across multiple jurisdictions through an international registration framework, rather than relying solely on separate national applications.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Aviator entered the Kenyan market in 2021, making the country one of the earlier markets in Africa where Spribe introduced the crash game.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The title has since become a prominent product within the online gambling sector, with its rapid-round format becoming widely available through operators offering the game to Kenyan players.<\/p>\n\r\n\t\t
