Guinea.- Guinea\u2019s gambling regulator is exploring the digitalisation<\/strong> of points of sale as part of efforts to modernise sector oversight and strengthen responsible gambling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Regulatory Authority for the Gaming and Similar Practices Sector<\/strong> (ARSJPA) received a delegation from Sharp Vision on July 22 for a working session on several strategic projects, according to an ARSJPA announcement published on LinkedIn.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The ARSJPA said the application is designed to \u201cmodernise the management of activities, improve the monitoring of operations and strengthen the effectiveness of the regulatory system<\/strong>,\u201d as part of its broader commitment to digital innovation in the gaming sector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sharp Vision is a French RegTech and GovTech company that develops digital platforms for public authorities, including solutions for gambling regulation and responsible gaming. The company supports gambling regulators in Guinea, Senegal, Benin and Mali.<\/p>\n\n\n

The meeting also examined the proposed implementation of an SMS awareness campaign. The ARSJPA said the parties discussed methods for sending messages to ensure their wide dissemination and promote responsible gambling<\/strong> practices among citizens.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The initiative remains at the discussion stage, with the point-of-sale application presented and the SMS campaign being developed to promote responsible gambling.<\/p>\n\n\n
