Benin.- Benin’s National Lottery (LNB) has issued a tender for an audit of its gaming platforms and M-DATA, its internal application for centralising sales data, as it expands its digital operations.

According to the Benin Public Procurement Portal, the tender covers an “audit of LNB platforms: gaming platforms and M-DATA data aggregation platform.” The tender has a submission deadline of August 27, 2026, while LNB’s 2026 procurement plan puts the estimated value at FCFA58.7m (US$98,000).

The assessment is expected to run for six months and cover LNB’s information systems and those of its private technology partners. The review will focus on the reliability, security and functional compliance of the systems, according to La Marina BJ.

The assessment will examine the infrastructure supporting the platform, including access management, data security, monitoring and connections between LNB and private sports-betting operators operating under its licence. Penetration testing and checks on gaming algorithms and random number generators are expected to form part of the assessment.

The audit comes as LNB implements a broader transformation programme following stronger first-half financial performance.
