LONAB is preparing to consolidate its first-half activities and submit the 2026 mid-year results for board approval as it pushes to sustain its performance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Burkina Faso.- Burkina Faso\u2019s National Lottery (LONAB) is preparing to review its first-half 2026 performance<\/strong> as it seeks to maintain momentum, strengthen its workforce and achieve its full-year objectives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Director general Ibrahim Zarani highlighted the company\u2019s positive performance momentum during LONAB\u2019s monthly national flag-raising ceremony on August 4, urging employees to maintain their efforts towards achieving the lottery\u2019s objectives<\/strong> by the end of 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Zarani praised staff for their efforts during the previous month and the results recorded by the company. \u201cI am particularly pleased with the good momentum<\/strong> observed in the company\u2019s performance,\u201d he said in a statement, while congratulating the various teams for their contribution.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

LONAB’s mid-year performance review, which will consolidate activities carried out during the first half of the financial year. The results will subsequently be submitted to LONAB\u2019s board of directors for approval. Zarani urged employees to maintain the current pace as LONAB works towards its objectives for the remainder of 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The performance drive comes alongside organisational reforms<\/strong> aimed at continuously improving the working environment and strengthening the institution\u2019s performance. Zarani called on employees to embrace the vision behind the changes and contribute to their implementation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

LONAB also highlighted the recent arrival of 70 new recruits<\/a>, who are expected to strengthen the lottery\u2019s human resources. The recruits were officially welcomed during an induction ceremony at LONAB\u2019s headquarters, with appointments covering key functions including marketing, information technology, internal audit, sales management, human resources, accounting, legal affairs, and monitoring and evaluation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The monthly flag-raising ceremony was also held at LONAB\u2019s main agencies in Bobo-Dioulasso and Koup\u00e9la, where staff participated in the ceremony. The ceremony carried particular symbolic significance, recalling the 4 August 1983 Revolution. Zarani called on employees to draw inspiration from its values while maintaining a strong focus on their responsibilities <\/strong>and the challenges ahead.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He expressed confidence in LONAB\u2019s teams to deliver on the lottery\u2019s 2026 objectives and strengthen its contribution to national development.<\/p>\n\n\n
