Mali.- PMU Mali<\/strong>, the country’s state-owned horse racing betting operator, has strengthened its retail presence in Mali’s Kayes Region with the opening of two new betting outlets during July, improving access to its horse racing betting<\/strong> services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The latest outlet was officially inaugurated in Mahina, in Mali’s Kayes Region, on July 25, following the opening of another outlet in the regional capital, Kayes, on July 10. Together, the openings underscore PMU Mali’s continued investment in expanding its retail footprint<\/strong> across western Mali.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Mahina inauguration was attended by Adama Bandjougou, Mayor of the rural municipality of Mahina, Birema Coulibaly, General Coordinator at PMU Mali’s Commercial Directorate, and other company representatives. The new outlet features three modern betting counters, allowing customers to follow live horse races and place wagers in real time<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The new outlets complement other initiatives under PMU Mali’s 2026\u20132030 Strategic Development Plan<\/a>, including the launch of a customer call centre in July to enhance customer service and support the operator’s ongoing modernisation programme.<\/p>\n\n\n

PMU Mali said the latest opening reinforces its commitment to expanding its retail network across the Kayes Region. “This new establishment comes just days after the opening of the Kayes N’DI outlet, confirming PMU Mali’s determination to accelerate the development of its local network<\/strong> in the Kayes Region,” said the operator.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to PMU Mali, the Mahina outlet will enable residents of the municipality and neighbouring communities to access its services without travelling to larger urban centres, supporting its broader objective of bringing betting services closer to customers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The earlier opening in Kayes N’DI increased the number of PMU Mali betting outlets in the city of Kayes to three, improving accessibility<\/strong> for customers on the opposite side of the Senegal River who previously had to travel into the city centre to place bets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

PMU Mali said the successive openings form part of its territorial development strategy, aimed at expanding its retail footprint, improving customer service, and supporting local economic development. <\/p>\n\n\n
