The larger format increases the number of fixtures, giving sportsbooks more matches to price and bettors more opportunities to engage throughout the group stage and knockout rounds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has also increased WAFCON 2026&#8217;s <strong>prize money<\/strong> to record levels. The winners will receive US$2m, while the total prize fund has risen to a record US$5.8m.
