South Africa.- The National Lotteries Commission (NLC)<\/strong> has hosted an education and awareness workshop in Limpopo Province <\/strong>to help civil society organisations better understand the regulator’s mandate and lottery funding application process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The workshop, held at Sefapane Lodge<\/strong> in the Ba-Phalaborwa Local Municipality<\/strong>, on July 23, brought together representatives of civil society organisations seeking guidance on the commission’s regulatory responsibilities and grant funding requirements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Participants received information on the NLC’s role in overseeing lottery funding and managing grants awarded to eligible organisations. Officials also outlined the commission’s approach to supporting projects that benefit communities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A key focus of the workshop was the funding application process. Attendees received practical guidance on preparing and submitting applications that meet the commission’s requirements.
