Kenya.- Kenyan casino and sports betting company Pepeta <\/strong>has donated a five-month supply of sanitary towels to 400 young women in Kangemi, Nairobi<\/strong>, as part of its corporate social responsibility programme supporting vulnerable communities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The outreach, held at Kangemi Memorial Park<\/strong>, aimed to improve access to menstrual hygiene products and help address period poverty. It also included counselling sessions on menstrual hygiene management, mental wellness and personal hygiene.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The initiative was carried out under Pepeta na Jamii<\/strong>, the company\u2019s community engagement programme, which supports communities through initiatives in education, sports and social development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n In a statement, Pepeta said the programme reflects its commitment to investing in people and advancing initiatives that promote health, dignity and empowerment in the communities where it operates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The company added that it will continue rolling out projects through Pepeta na Jamii in line with its broader community engagement efforts.<\/p>\n\n\n
