The incentive is designed to reward on-court success while encouraging greater competitiveness throughout the league.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>betPawa\u00a0regional manager for Southern and Eastern Africa, <strong>Bwalya Noah<\/strong>, said the\u00a0programme\u00a0rewards winning performances. &#8220;At\u00a0betPawa, we believe that success on the court should create value for the people who make it happen. That belief gave birth to the Locker Room Bonus. When a team wins, the players and technical staff who earned that victory should receive an <strong>immediate reward<\/strong>,&#8221; said Noah, according to the Citizen.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Noah added the initiative&nbsp;recognises&nbsp;players&#8217; efforts, rewards excellence and ensures &#8220;success on the court translates into tangible financial benefits.&#8221;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to Noah,\u00a0betPawa&#8217;s\u00a0Locker Room Bonus\u00a0programme\u00a0has grown into one of Africa&#8217;s leading\u00a0sports development initiatives,\u00a0benefiting\u00a0thousands of athletes in <strong>Ghana, Uganda,\u00a0Nigeria\u00a0and Cameroon<\/strong>, while hundreds of Tanzanian basketball players have already received bonuses through the initiative.\u00a0Cameroon became the\u00a0programme&#8217;s\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/focusgn.com\/africa\/cameroon-lands-fcfa75-9m-betpawa-investment-as-locker-room-bonus-enters-francophone-africa\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/focusgn.com\/africa\/cameroon-lands-fcfa75-9m-betpawa-investment-as-locker-room-bonus-enters-francophone-africa\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">first Francophone African market<\/a> when\u00a0betPawa\u00a0launched the LRB there in June<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>BDL president Shendu Hamis&nbsp;welcomed the renewal of the partnership, describing it as a major boost for the league and its players.&nbsp;&#8220;We are delighted to renew our partnership with&nbsp;betPawa&nbsp;because this sponsorship continues to bring real value to our league.
