National lottery says a portion of revenue generated through its games is being reinvested into school infrastructure, learning resources and postgraduate scholarships through its CSR programme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
Guinea.- Guinea’s National Lottery (LONAGUI) has outlined how a portion of the revenue generated through its games is being reinvested into school infrastructure, educational resources and postgraduate scholarships as part of its corporate social responsibility<\/strong> (CSR) programme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The operator said it has supported 32 Guinean students through its scholarship programme since 2023, covering tuition fees and providing bursaries for students enrolled in Master 1 and Master 2 programmes, in a LinkedIn post published on July 13.<\/p>\n\n\n\n LONAGUI said: “From 2023 to the present day, 32 young Guinean students have been selected on merit and transparency criteria. LONAGUI covers all of their academic fees<\/strong> for their Master 1 and Master 2 cycles, together with a bursary.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n LONAGUI also outlined how lottery revenue is being reinvested into education infrastructure<\/strong>. “A portion of the revenue generated by our games is reinvested in local infrastructure. Our CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) policy does not spread things too thinly: it finances entire projects.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n Madinagb\u00e9 Primary School in For\u00e9cariah has benefited from a complete renovation<\/strong>, including the rehabilitation of school buildings, the creation of a water point and the provision of table-benches. LONAGUI added that the same commitment has supported the construction of modern infrastructure at Tan\u00e9n\u00e9 Primary School in Matoto.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The operator also highlighted initiatives aimed at easing the financial burden on families through the distribution of school supplies and learning materials.<\/p>\n\n\n\n LONAGUI said pupils at Boussoura Primary School in T\u00e9lim\u00e9l\u00e9 received complete school kits <\/strong>containing bags, notebooks and textbooks. The operator also said it provided textbooks to Barry Diawadou Primary School in Conakry and made educational and recreational donations to children at the Regina Maris orphanage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The operator said the initiatives form part of its CSR programme, through which a portion of lottery revenue is reinvested into education and community projects across Guinea.<\/p>\n\n\n
