The association is positioning the event as a platform to advance <strong>regulatory\u00a0harmonisation<\/strong>, responsible gambling, digital\u00a0transformation\u00a0and cross-border collaboration as gaming markets continue to evolve across the continent.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"480\" height=\"600\" src=\"https:\/\/focusgn.com\/africa\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/7\/2026\/06\/ALGA-480x600.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-27626\" srcset=\"https:\/\/focusgn.com\/africa\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/7\/2026\/06\/ALGA-480x600.jpg 480w, https:\/\/focusgn.com\/africa\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/7\/2026\/06\/ALGA.jpg 800w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 480px) 100vw, 480px\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p>Shimaneni has previously called for greater collaboration across Africa&#8217;s lottery and gaming sector. Speaking at ALGA&#8217;s 2025 CEOs Forum, he called for an<a href=\"https:\/\/focusgn.com\/africa\/namibia-calls-to-africanise-the-lottery-and-gaming-sector\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"9044\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">&#8220;Africanised&#8221; lottery and gaming sector <\/a>tailored to the continent&#8217;s unique social and economic realities. He urged regulators and lottery operators to share lessons learned so emerging markets could avoid repeating mistakes while developing gaming models that better serve African communities.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The association also credited its CEO <strong>Musa Mngadi<\/strong>, with playing a key role in the conception and growth of the CEOs Forum, saying the initiative reflects his belief that Africa&#8217;s progress is accelerated when regulators and industry stakeholders work together.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mngadi said: &#8220;Our success is defined by the <strong>appetite of our regulators<\/strong> and all our stakeholders to unify and collaborate with each other, knowing that as a collective we can achieve so much more for our African people.&#8221;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to ALGA, Africa continues to face <strong>fragmented regulation<\/strong> and inconsistent player protection frameworks.
