The agreement formalises cooperation between the gaming regulator and local government authorities on the management of gaming activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Tanzania.- The Gaming Board of Tanzania (GBT) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding<\/strong> (MoU) with the Prime Minister’s Office – Regional Administration and Local Government (PMO-RALG) to strengthen collaboration on the management of gaming activities in Tanzania. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The agreement was signed on June 23 by James Mbalwe<\/strong>, GBT director general, and Adolf Ndunguru<\/strong>, PMO-RALG permanent secretary. It establishes a framework for cooperation in public awareness, information sharing, capacity building and joint monitoring of compliance with gaming laws.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The GBT said: “This partnership demonstrates a shared commitment to good governance, accountability, and improved service delivery <\/strong>through effective institutional collaboration.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

PMO-RALG is responsible for regional administration and local government authorities in Tanzania, while the GBT regulates and oversees gaming activities in the country. <\/p>\n\n\n
