Technical assistance initiative forms part of a broader cooperation agreement aimed at strengthening anti-money laundering controls and institutional collaboration. <\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
Angola.- Angola’s Gaming Supervision Institute<\/strong> (ISJ) has provided technical assistance to the General Tax Administration’s (AGT) task force responsible for preventing money laundering and terrorist financing. <\/p>\n\n\n\n The support was delivered through the regulator’s Technical Group for Mutual Evaluation (GTAM) on June 17, with the initiative focused on promoting the exchange of experiences, sharing technical knowledge<\/strong> and disseminating best practices in anti-money laundering and counter-terrorism financing (AML\/CFT). <\/p>\n\n\n\n According to the ISJ, the initiative was aimed at strengthening institutional cooperation and supporting anti-money laundering and counter-terrorism financing efforts, reflecting the regulator’s responsibility for overseeing Angola’s gambling, lottery <\/strong>and wider gaming sectors. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Recently, the ISJ stepped up efforts to combat illegal gambling<\/a> and strengthen supervision of licensed operators as part of a broader regulatory drive aimed at improving compliance across the sector.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
