Dipela brings more than two decades of experience across tourism, local government, sports administration and business leadership.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
South Africa.- Andrew Dipela<\/strong> has been appointed as a board member and deputy chairman of the Limpopo Gambling Board<\/strong> (LGB) by Tshitereke Matibe<\/strong>, Limpopo Economic Development, Environment and Tourism (LEDET) MEC. Dipela joined the board on June 8.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Dipela currently serves as board chairperson of the Limpopo Tourism Agency<\/strong> (LTA), where he oversees initiatives aimed at promoting Limpopo as a tourism and investment destination. He previously held the position from 2015 to 2018 and was re-elected for a second term from 2019 to 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n He has also held senior positions in South African football administration, including general manager of the Premier Soccer League<\/strong> (PSL) and public relations officer of the National Soccer League<\/strong>. He was part of South African Football Association<\/strong> (SAFA) delegations involved in the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa, as well as the FIFA Confederations Cup and FIFA World Cup in Germany. Outside sport, Dipela served as municipal manager of the Bela-Bela Municipality and has held leadership roles in the private sector.<\/p>\n\n\n
