PMU Mali supported the 82nd Grand Prix de la Nation as part of its long-standing partnership with the country’s horse-racing sector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Mali.- PMU Mali<\/strong>, the country’s pari-mutuel betting operator, has backed the 82nd Grand Prix de la Nation with a prize pool of nearly CFA13m (US$22,000), underscoring its ties to the horse-racing<\/strong> industry that supports its wagering business. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Held at the Bamako Equestrian Field on June 6-7, the event is one of the most prestigious fixtures on Mali’s equestrian calendar. Organised by the Malian Federation of Horse Riding and Equestrian Sports (FMHSE) under the patronage of Transitional President General Assimi Go\u00efta, the competition brought together leading horses, jockeys, breeders<\/strong> and racing enthusiasts from across the country. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

As an official sponsor and long-standing partner of the FMHSE, PMU Mali was represented at the event by Director of Marketing and Communication Baye Guindo on behalf of Chief Executive Officer Fassery Doumbia. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In a press release, PMU Mali said it has expanded support for the sector in recent years through partnerships with the FMHSE, backing national and international competitions<\/strong>, supporting horse breeders and owners, and encouraging initiatives aimed at improving horse breeds.\u00a0The company said these efforts form part of its wider mission to develop horse racing and enhance Mali’s equine heritage.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This year’s edition featured a total prize pool of nearly CFA13m (US$22,000), with Sadio Camara claiming victory in the headline Course des Cracks race following a closely contested competition. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

For PMU Mali, the sponsorship highlights the close relationship between horse racing and its core betting activities<\/strong>. The operator continues to offer pari-mutuel wagering products linked to horse racing, including Quint\u00e9+ and Tierc\u00e9, while supporting the broader ecosystem surrounding the sport.  <\/p>\n\r\n\t\t
