The deal will see BDL’s men and women players receive cash rewards for every game won. A strong appeal of the initiative is that the cash bonus is transferred directly to players’ mobile wallets, eliminating delays and bureaucracy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
When a team in the BDL wins, each of the 12 players and four technical staff on the match-day squad will receive TZS 88,750<\/strong> (\u20ac29.26), totalling TZS 1,420,000<\/strong> (\u20ac468). Draws don’t qualify for bonuses since the LRB focuses on rewarding success rather than mere participation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n At the close of the BDL season, betPawa will distribute TZS 14,000,000<\/strong> (\u20ac4,616) through the LRB initiative as bonuses for MVPs and prizes for top teams in both men’s and women’s divisions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Jehud Ngolo<\/strong>, deputy director of the Gaming Board of Tanzania, said: “For too long, our athletes’ triumphs haven’t been tangible gains. Today, that changes, TZS 88,750 per win is more than money-it’s dignity, motivation and a step toward professionalising basketball.
