A strong appeal of the initiative is that the cash bonus is transferred directly to players&#8217; mobile wallets, eliminating delays and bureaucracy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When a team in the BDL wins, each of the 12 players and four technical staff on the match-day squad will receive <strong>TZS 88,750<\/strong> (\u20ac29.26), totalling <strong>TZS 1,420,000<\/strong> (\u20ac468). Draws don&#8217;t qualify for bonuses since the LRB focuses on rewarding success rather than mere participation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At the close of the BDL season, betPawa will distribute <strong>TZS 14,000,000<\/strong> (\u20ac4,616) through the LRB initiative as bonuses for MVPs and prizes for top teams in both men&#8217;s and women&#8217;s divisions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Jehud Ngolo<\/strong>, deputy director of the Gaming Board of Tanzania, said: &#8220;For too long, our athletes&#8217; triumphs haven&#8217;t been tangible gains. Today, that changes, TZS 88,750 per win is more than money-it&#8217;s dignity, motivation and a step toward professionalising basketball. It&#8217;s a testament to what happens when regulators and responsible operators collaborate.&#8221;\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Since unveiling it in <strong>2022<\/strong>, betPawa has expanded the Locker Room Bonus to several African countries, including Ghana, Rwanda, Uganda, <a href=\"https:\/\/focusgn.com\/africa\/betpawa-launches-locker-room-bonus-in-malawis-womens-football\">Malawi<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/focusgn.com\/africa\/betpawa-introduces-rewards-for-kenyas-womens-football-league\">Kenya<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Africa Sports Development and Equality<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>With LRB, betPawa aims to support and promote sports development in Africa by motivating players and teams to perform at their best. Through this initiative, the operator also champions equality and inclusivity in sports, as it provides the same financial incentives to players and technical staff in both men&#8217;s and women&#8217;s competitions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Raquel Puig<\/strong>, betPawa&#8217;s head of CSR &amp; sports development, said: &#8220;Equity in sport isn&#8217;t just about visibility, it&#8217;s about value.
