Ghana.- Betting operator Megapari <\/strong>has named former Ghana captain Asamoah Gyan<\/strong> as its new global brand ambassador. The deal was announced at a launch event in Accra on May 23.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Gyan said: “Today, I’m proud to become a brand ambassador for Megapari ahead of the 2026 World Cup.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The former striker remains one of the most recognisable figures in African football<\/strong>. He is Ghana’s all-time leading goalscorer with 51 international goals and holds the record as Africa’s highest-scoring player in FIFA World Cup history with six goals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Gyan enjoyed a professional career <\/strong>spanning nearly two decades, featuring for clubs in England, Italy, France, the United Arab Emirates, China, Turkey and India. He is also remembered for helping Ghana reach the quarter-finals of the 2010 FIFA World Cup, matching the furthest progression by an African nation at the tournament. <\/p>\n\n\n
