The board also highlighted its responsible gaming campaigns and its work with law enforcement and other state agencies on enforcement and consumer protection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Discussions further covered the sector\u2019s contribution to the economy through tax revenue, licensing fees, employment creation, and the wider digital payments ecosystem, with officials noting that increased internet access and mobile penetration have accelerated participation in online gaming.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The regulator used the forum to explain its collaboration with law enforcement and other government agencies in tracking unlicensed operators, preventing revenue leakages, and improving consumer protection. Attention was also given to how emerging technologies are reshaping betting products, customer engagement, and payment systems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Board also engaged directly with journalists on policy implementation, enforcement priorities, and planned reforms as the industry becomes more digitised.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The NLGRB described the roundtable as a key platform for building public trust and strengthening dialogue with the media.
