Official presidential decree confirms Appoline Ndoricimpa\u2019s appointment as administrative and financial director at Burundi\u2019s national lottery operator.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
Burundi.- President Evariste Ndayishimiye<\/strong> has appointed Appoline Ndoricimpa<\/strong> as administrative and financial director of the National Lottery of Burundi (LONA), in a new senior appointment within the country\u2019s regulated gambling sector. The appointment was confirmed in presidential decree No. 100\/066<\/strong> of May 13, 2026, published by the Office of the President of the Republic of Burundi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The document reads: \u201cMrs Appoline Ndoricimpa is appointed Administrative and Financial Director at the National Lottery of Burundi (LONA).\u201d Issued in Gitega, Burundi\u2019s political capital, the appointment took immediate effect<\/strong> from the date of signature following a proposal from the Ministry of Mining Resources, Energy, Industry, Commerce and Tourism.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The document also repealed all previous provisions contrary to the appointment and was signed by President Ndayishimiye, Prime Minister Nestor Ntahontuye and Minister of Mining Resources, Energy, Industry, Commerce and Tourism Dr Hassan Kibeya.<\/p>\n\n\n\n LONA oversees Burundi\u2019s national lottery activities<\/strong> and forms part of the country\u2019s regulated gambling framework. The state-run operator remains one of the country\u2019s key public gaming institutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n
